History of The District of Dunchurch Brass

The Band was founded by Colin and Janet Worrall in December 2006.

Mr and Mrs Worrall have been connected with Bands for many years. Mr Worrall`s family were the founders of other Brass Band, which Colin belonged to for many years along with Janet.

After a 2 year break they decided to start a new  Brass Band.

                   Here we are

 The Band have got brand new Virtusosi Instruments and there own Bandroom

 The Band have done a few concerts to help raise money for differenty charity`s. 

December 2006 =   We play at an event for the Macmillian Nurses, where there was a lot of money rasied. This was our first booking. what a great way to start .

On the 17th June 2007 =  The Band also played at The Dunchurch Park Hotel, this event was in aid of The Acorn Children`s Hospice.

It was nice to be involved in both events, and to be able to give something back.

We might only be a small group at the moment, but we have got some experienced players, and a very good Musical Director. We do intend to do contesting, when we get somemore players. As this is the aim of the Band.
